Mission Statement
To certify the basic skills and knowledge of a Neurodiagnostic Tech Assistant through a six-month hybrid program thus fostering the pursuit of a formal education and registry in the field of Neurodiagnostics.
To become proficient in the International 10-20 measuring system.
Basic knowledge of neurological disorders and neuroanatomy.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medications, normal and abnormal brain wave activity.
Basic knowledge of EEG equipment, instrumentation and troubleshooting techniques.
How to obtain a complete patient history.
Basic HIPAA/HITECH knowledge.
THE PROGRAM
Neurodiagnostic Technologist Assistant Program
This curriculum is a six-month, on-line class that offers basic Neurodiagnostic training. This educational course prepares an individual and puts them on a path to become registry-eligible for the REEGT credential. This program includes field training with experienced Registered EEG Technologists.
