What insurance do you accept?
Neurovative accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and all commercial plans.
How long does it take to get a study after I order?
Typically 1 to 10 days. The biggest variables are getting the insurance approved (1-14 days) and the patient’s schedule. Our technologists are ready and available quickly after insurance is approved and we work with the patient schedule to accommodate their needs.
After the study disconnects, how long does it take to get the results?
Please allow for 1 day to upload the study and 2-3 days for our Scanning Department to scan, prune, and annotate the study plus prepare a Technologist’s Report for your convenience.
What is the cost to the patient?
This will depend upon the individual insurance situation. Neurovative verifies insurance and communicates clearly with the patient regarding their deductible and copay responsibilities. The overall cost of in-home long term EEG is significantly less compared to an inpatient study.
Can I read my own studies?
Certainly! You can choose to interpret the study AFTER it is completed, or you can choose to interpret DAILY for reporting each 24 hours. For the daily reporting option, you will receive a Daily Tech Summary and notification to log in to review.
Can I have someone else read my results?
Absolutely! You can choose to have a Neurovative neurologist interpret and provide you their report.
How is the In-home vEEG study monitored?
Neurovative provides an expert team of registered technologists and offers intermittent monitoring capabilities for all in-home EEGs ordered.
How is the professional component billed?
At the completion of each study Neurovative creates and sends the interpreting physician (or their chosen billing person) a billing guide sheet to aid in selecting the proper codes and units to be submitted for reimbursement of the professional component.
